Poorcana Cup

Hello Illumineers!

On the 1st November 2026 at Players Paradice (Newport Pagnell, MK16 8HE) JTC Events is proud to announce its two more casual focused side events the day after our first Invitational Qualifier.

For a format that so desperately needs a new name, the gameplay, the meta and the format is fresh, exciting and easy for anyone - new or old - in the hobby to get involved with.

For £20 join us in a Commons and Uncommons ONLY deck format where any card printed at that rarity in ANY set is legal for booster prizes and some very exciting goodies for the Top 8 from our partners at Ravensburger and Players Paradice.

This is a commons and uncommons only infinity constructed event over five rounds in a straight swiss format.

The JTC Standard: Every player will receive one booster per win throughout the tournament on top of anything else they might win!

Event Information:

- The Poorcana Cup is held at Players Paradice in Newport Pagnell, MK16 8HE.

- This event will have a player meeting at 09:30 with Round One beginning soon after. We recommend arriving early if travelling by car and following local signage for free long stay parking only a short walk from the store. The venue will be open from 09:00.

- If you require fixed seating for any reason please speak to either Luke Franks (Tournament Manager), Jack Broddle (JTCEvents) or any of the judge team to organise this the morning of the event or you can email jacktradescardsevents@gmail.com to answer any queries you may have.

- Players Paradice will be open as a shop throughout the weekend with some kitchen facilities, a bar and a fantastic range of board games, tcg products and more to peruse in between rounds. 

- JackTradesCards will be open as our singles vendor for the weekend including Friday 30th October with Hyperia City cards readily available. Due to high demand it is recommended you order early and we would recommend our Cardmarket Store to see the wide range of singles before anyone else. 

- Decklists will be required and should be submitted on Playhub prior to Round One.

Terms and Conditions:

- Junior Tickets require registration by an adult over the age of 18. The Ravensburger Playhub email should be the Junior Player's.

- Tickets are only refundable on a case by case basis a week before the event begins. Ticket holders should email jacktradescardsevents@gmail.com.
